La Cátedra Cultural «Francisco Tomás y Valiente», Docencia en Derecho Civil y la Asociación cultural de estudios internacionales «Hacer para el desarrollo»,  organizan este curso que se celebrará en modalidad online los martes y jueves en horario de 17:30 a 19:30 horas entre el 15 de septiembre y 1 de octubre de 2026.

Los objetivos generales de este curso son los de dar una perspectiva transversal del deporte en tanto que fenómeno de estudio multidisciplinar, tomando como puntos de referencia el Derecho, la Comunicación y la Politología.

El curso se desarrollará en formato telemático sincrónico, combinando la exposición tradicional de la clase magistral con los turnos de preguntas y de debate.

Dirigido al público en general y, fundamentalmente, a cualquier persona interesada en la defensa de sus derechos y en la divulgación del conocimiento científico.

CERTIFICADO DE ASISTENCIA, APTITUD Y RECONOCIMIENTO POR CRÉDITO ECTS

La Universidad de La Laguna, a través del Vicerrectorado de Cultura y Extensión Universitaria, emitirá un certificado de asistencia a todas aquellas personas que asistan a un mínimo del 80% de las horas lectivas presenciales. Asimismo, aquellas personas que superen el trabajo autónomo del alumnado, recibirán un certificado de asistencia y aprovechamiento, reconocible a su vez por un crédito ECTS.

CRICULT is an initiative aimed at safeguarding cultural heritage during times of crisis. Cultural heritage often bears the brunt of various crises, be they human-made or caused by natural disasters. 

CRICULT seeks to create transdisciplinary research networks to enhance our understanding of how crises impact the cultural heritage sector and, most importantly, to develop sound policy proposals for its protection.

In the past, research and teaching on cultural heritage security during crises have been fragmented and sparse. CRICULT aims to change this by uniting experts from diverse backgrounds, each offering unique perspectives on the subject. The way we perceive, and address crises is significantly influenced by disciplinary and cultural viewpoints. 

The examination of a wide range of crises affecting cultural heritage will be conducted through six dedicated Working Groups. These crises encompass trafficking of artifacts, climate change and natural disasters, threats to intangible heritage, crises arising from warfare, historical injustices, forced migration, and issues related to overtourism and heritage neglect.

CRICULT’s core objective is to create comprehensive crisis and solution matrices. They will encompass a wide range of potential factors that can lead to crises and the methods to identify them. Subsequently, we’ll identify potential solutions for crisis situations and compile them into a solutions matrix to be used for research and policy formulation.

The success of CRICULT hinges on the collective efforts of an international, interdisciplinary team comprising both young and experienced researchers. Its impact will extend beyond academia; external stakeholders, from non-academic circles will also be engaged.

The 1995 UNIDROIT Convention Academy Project (UCAP) has the main objective of promoting a favourable legal environment for restitution and return of stolen or illegally exported cultural objects through knowledge sharing and dissemination, as well as projects pursued individually by the partners and members or on the basis of joint initiatives. Key in this context is the divulgation and implementation of the 1995 UNIDROIT Convention on Stolen or Illegally Exported Cultural Objects and the 2011 UNESCO-UNIDROIT Model Provisions on State Ownership of Undiscovered Cultural Objects. 

Education is a key tool in protecting cultural property and combating illicit traffic and UCAP is meant to increase the awareness and knowledge about the 1995 UNIDROIT Convention on Stolen or Illegally Exported Cultural Objects. It aims at promoting and linking pertinent (inter)national research made by entities and Universities holding courses in the field of cultural heritage law, in particular on the 1995 UNIDROIT Convention. It also wishes to promote the development of specific programs or modules.

UCAP seeks to assist scholars, students, practising lawyers, judges, other government officials, as well as art market players, such as art collectors, dealers, auction houses and museums by providing information about the 1995 Convention.

UCAP also provides an opportunity to assess the significance, the distinctive features and operational aspects of the 1995 Convention and its interaction with other regional and international instruments with a view also to assess their legal impact. To do so, UCAP needs the assistance of scholars and professionals.

Finally, taking a step further into cultural Heritage education, studies and research carry out by the means of UCAP will facilitate the identification of best practices in the art market in order to provide innovative means of implementation of the aforementioned instruments.

La Ludoteca Jurídica es un espacio en la Red cuya finalidad básica es mostrar y facilitar el aprendizaje del Derecho, mediante el uso de juegos educativos.

Esta iniciativa está coordinada desde la Universidad de Almería, siendo su director el profesor de Derecho Civil Víctor Bastante Granell.

Abierta en el año 2007, gracias a la labor de WebEmpresas, ha sido una herramienta invaluable en el desarrollo de mis actividades como profesor de Derecho Civil en la Universidad de La Laguna.
